Name Change

We are changing the name of our MTOA Training Conference to the MTOA Tactical Training Expo.  We think it more accurately describes what we do as well as addresses a concern that some have brought to our attention.  We have been told that some departments frown upon “training conferences”--they believe they are more cocktail event than training.  Therefore, in order to alleviate this misconception, we decided on the name change to the Midwest Tactical Officers Association Tactical Training Expo.  We are locking in our trainers now and plan on having the expo details and registration available by the end of April. With the Election year we are very lucky to have Max Joseph of TFTT teaching an 8 hour block on VIP/Dignitary protection.

Jamison Kampmeyer Memorial Charity Shoot
This March we lost Jamison while he was fighting a fire for the Colby Fire Dept.  Jamison was one of our Board Members and a Detective with the Marathon County Sheriff's Department. This year we are renaming our Charity shoot after him and this years proceeds will be donated to his family for his children. This years shoot will be held September 18th at the start of our conference.  You need not attend the conference to shoot.
